The importance of the former Convent Of the Holy Child Jesus, Magdalene Road as a historic and architectural site cannot be over valued by the borough.
The preservation of the site should be at the forefront when considering any new development plan. That it retains its spacial and historic cultural significance and that no planning permission be given unless suitable long term use can be found to benefit the listed buildings.
The geographic situation, as well as the important psychological space the site occupies above Warrior Square Station Area must be guarded.
