Qualified support recommending further strengthening of protection: In addition to the changes the council has already agreed to at the hearings, the following should be included in Policy HN6:
Planning permission will not be granted for development within the curtilage of the Former Convent of the Holy Child Jesus unless
i) it is for enabling development that is in accordance with national guidance.
ii) the Italianate East Wing is retained.
