Nicolas Antram (HBC commissioned report 2007) recommended that the Kings Rd Conservation Area should be extended to include 6-8 Ellenslea Rd and 1-3 Chapel Park Rd because of their prominence and townscape merit, but only 6-8 Ellenslea Rd was included in the Conservation Area.
