Representation Summary:
The idea of a green network is excellent. However the SHLAA 2011 indicates that development might be allowed on green spaces that should be designated as open space. Eg. The entirety of the convent grounds in Magdalen Rd as
1. They make an important contribution to the townscape
2. "The Convent School and it's grounds are the major elements of the conservation area" (Local Plan 2004)
3. Any inappropriate development on this green space would have a detrimental impact on White Rock Gardens and many public views.
